The AAHAR International Food and Hospitality Fair is one of Asia’s biggest B2B (business-to-business) event in the food and hospitality industry, showcasing a wide range of food products, beverages, hospitality equipment, and technology. It provides a platform for exhibitors and visitors to network, explore business opportunities, and stay updated on the latest trends in the sector.  

First of all, in this exhibition, the companies which I observed are the following:

• Balaji Industries: An Indian Brand itself in Thane, Mumbai. They manufacture food processing machines like Steam Jacketed Kettles, Milk Boiling Kettles, Rasgulla Making Kettles, etc. Their USP is the steam-operated kettles which help to prepare food with a minor loss of essential nutrients in food.
• TWF Flour: An Indian Brand itself in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. They manufacture different kinds of flour like Pizza Flour, Bread Flour, European Flour, etc. Moreover, they use 100% Clean Label flours, i.e. they make products using as few ingredients as possible so that consumers recognize and think of them as wholesome ingredients that consumers might use at home.

• R.J. Food Products: An Indian Brand itself in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Their product range encompasses the best possible quality molding chocolates, chocolate bars, liquid chocolates, a wide range of jellies, candies, wafers, etc.

• R.P. Gourmet Foods Pvt. Ltd: An Indian Brand itself in Mehrauli, New Delhi. They produce fine-quality products like various kinds of cheese, frozen dough, seafood, poultry products, and European pork meat.

• Pillsbury: It is a U S based brand situated in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They produce premium quality bakery products like vanilla sponge mix, chocolate sponge mix, red velvet sponge mix, tea cake mixes, dessert mixes, bread concentrates, whipped toppings & truffles solution, etc. Their finished product quality is way better than any other organization present in the market. This is so because I taste their product and there is a richness in their mixes which provides little moisture. In addition, they also provide other products like Ready-to-Eat food (like Lava Cake, Brownie, and Cookies), Par-Baked food (like Tortilla Wraps), Raw Laminated Sheets (like Puff Sheets, Croissant Sheets), and Raw Dough Sheet (like Pizza Base and Thin Crust Disc of Pizza).

• Novotech Food Ingredients: An Indian Brand situated near Paschim Vihar East Metro Station, New Delhi. They produce bakery products like Whip Topping (like High Whip, Nova Rich, Novo Truffle, Ultra Whip, etc), Cake Mixes (like vanilla sponge premix, egg free chocolate concentrate, egg free red velvet premix, egg free brownie premix, muffin mix, etc), bakery glaze (like chocolate glaze, mango glaze, caramel glaze, etc), sugar pastes, choco chips, chocolate compound, etc.

• Ornima: An Indian Brand itself in Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. They produce a whole range of bakery products like whipping cream, truffle cream, ganache, fondants/sugar paste, food additives, metallic colour powders, flavoured colour powder, cooking cream, etc. Therefore, they outsource their products from another company named Inmax Foods Pvt. Ltd.

• Only Earth: An Indian Brand situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. They produce plant-based non-dairy alternatives which are better for health. Products like beverages of different kinds of shakes, juices, drinks, dairy-free mayonnaise, etc.

• Impact (by Honeywell): An Indian Brand situated in Jasola District Centre, New Delhi. They manufacture billing solutions like POS (point-of-sale), Barcode Printer, Barcode Scanners (1D, 2D), Receipt Printer, Desktop Printer, POS Terminal, etc. 

• Vinayak Paper Plates: An Indian Brand situated in Delhi Bypass, Jaipur, Rajasthan. They make their disposable plates out of siali leaves. They use siali leaves on one side and thick paper or cardboard on the other sides to strengthen the base of disposables. They produce products like plates from size 7” to 16” and dona from size 4” to 7”.

• Golden Millets: An Indian Brand situated in Dwarka, New Delhi. They produce millet-based savoury items like Namkeen, Cookies, Pasta, Sewai, Noodles, Flour, & Daliya. In savoury items, they use black pepper as a seasoning agent in place of red chilli & salt. In dessert items, they use “Khaand” as a sweetening agent in place of ordinary sugar.

• Biomerieux Pvt. Ltd.:  It is a France-based Brand situated in Marcy-l’Etoile. They provide diagnostic solutions which determine the sources of diseases and contamination to improve patient health and ensure consumer safety. Its products diagnose infectious diseases, screen for cancer, and monitro these conditions. They also detect microorganisms in agri-food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products.

• Haryana Bakery Machines: An Indian brand occupies a location in Sector-10, Noida, and has its factory in Ulkanamandi, Hisar, Haryana. They manufacture bakery machines like Cookies Dropping Machine (₹5,20,000 excluding GST). They produce other bakery equipments like Rotary Rack Oven, Deck Oven, Spiral Mixer, Planetary Mixer, Bread Mixers, Dough Sheeter, & Packing Machine.

• Plastovac: An Indian Brand situated in Rakhail, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Additionally, their strength lies in top-quality Multi-layered Laminated Vacuum Pouches used for food products such as dairy products. Moreover, they offer pouches for meat products, frozen foods, vegetables, sun-dried fruits, dry fruits, and all other kinds of food, whether it is raw or ready-to-eat..

• Indvac Vacuum Packaging Machines: An Indian Brand situated in Rakhial, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Their USP (Unique Selling Point) is to manufacture different kinds of vacuum packing machines like Table Top Vacuum Machine, Single Chamber Trolley Machines, Double Chamber Vacuum Machines, Vertical Vacuum Machines, Belt Type Vacuum Machines, & Nitrogen Flushing and Sealing Machines.

• Airex Heaters: An Indian Brand situated in Wazirpur Industrial Area, Delhi. They offer innovative heating solutions for various industries with unique specifications, broadly through different categories like commercial heaters, domestic heaters & industrial heaters.

• Travac: An Indian Brand situated in Rakhial, Gujarat. They manufacture a machine specifically designed to pack a wide range of food including ready-to-eat food, dry fruits, dry ingredients, etc. They specifically do vacuum packing including atmosphere mix like argon, helium, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide.

• Toshika Natural Cold Pressed Oil: An Indian Brand situated in Madinapur Colony, New Delhi. They manufacture cold-pressed edible oils like coconut, peanut, almond, sesame, and mustard oil. They also provide consultancy for Government Schemes and Subsidy benefits and tell which machine is better for cold-pressed oil.

• KAP Group: An Indian Brand situated in Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-I, New Delhi. They manufacture laminated tubes (i.e. Sugar Rolled Cones) and cone sleeves of international standards to cater to companies that demand higher quality standards for their products ranging from cosmetics, toothpaste, pharmaceuticals, etc.

• Samasta Foods: An Indian Brand situated in Tehsil Sanganer, Mansarovar, Jaipur (Rajasthan). Their USP is to provide a wide range of organic raw materials (like pulses, spices, rice, flours, sweeteners, dry fruits, oil seeds, ghee, edible cold-pressed oil, herbs, and salts), and value-added products (like millet flours, ready-to-cook millet premixes, high protein bars, etc.).
• Arun Rega Bakery Machines: An Indian Brand situated in Kalapatti Post, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. They manufacture various kinds of conveyor ovens for big industries. They manufacture a unique kind of dough mixer that attracts me the most because they specifically designed that kind of dough mixer to maintain the minimum temperature of the dough by circulating the cold water (which is at 4 degrees Celsius) inside the machine.

Conclusion

AHAAR is Asia’s biggest B2B (business-to-business) event in the food and hospitality industry, showcasing a wide range of food products, beverages, hospitality equipment, and technology. This event showcases every essential item from top to bottom like packaging machines (like Travac, Indvac, etc), bakery machines (like Arun Rega Bakery Machine, Haryana Bakery Machines, etc.), healthy and organic food producers (like Golden Millets, Only Earth, etc.), food and beverage equipments like different kinds of glasses used in hotels, different kinds of linens, and much more. This event was operated in 17 halls. I found out so much things which were new to me which excite me about this event.
