SIAL in India is the is the only B2B show with maximum international participation from over 31 countries.
First of all, in this exhibition, the companies which I observe are the following:
- Cothas Coffee: An Indian Brand situated in Bangalore; Karnataka prepares their products by using coffee beans in it without adding any kind of preservative. Because of this the shelf life of their products like Milkshakes and Cold Coffee are less as compared to other and having a strong natural flavor as compared to the other established products are also a reason too.
- Farzan Afghan Trader: Stall was originate from Afghanistan. I observe different kind of Almonds range from light to dark. The exhibitor told me that lighter colour of almonds signifies the freshness of it and more the almond age leads to increase oil content in it.
- Cocomate: In this stall, they having a large variety of product based on Coconut. They having a large variety of coconut-based products like Refined oil, Milk Cream, Flavoured Milk Cream, Flour, Chips, Vinegar, Syrup, etc.
- Swiss Pac: It is a company which manufactures machine which is capable to print packets without using cylinders, plating or dyes. It is like to print using a normal printer which we basically used to print text pages or photos.
- Smart Kid: It is a Russia based company which make food for infant children which could not be able to consume hard food directly. This brand provide food in the form of puree which includes sufficient amount of iodine in it which helps to fulfil the required amount of iodine in children body.
- Bio- Nutrient Pvt. Ltd.: This company showcase their product like softy dispenser machine and the material by which they prepare softy. The softy is a plant based, lactose-free product. The price of softy dispenser machine is ₹1,65,000 (inclusive GST) and the addition ₹10,000 charges for the installation and demo. The price of this product from which we prepare softy is ₹450 for 1kg product. It prepares 30 softies out of it.
- 3 Sisters: It is a cocktail mixer and mocktail brand. Their company logo looks very similar to SEBI which is actually a Security and Exchange Board of India.
- Pizza Master: In this stall, the exhibitor which was actually a professional chef showcased their conventional oven and preparing the pizza out of fresh pizza dough and bake it around 300 – 350-degree celcius. The temperature of the oven can reach up to 500-degree celcius or 932 degree Fahrenheit.
Conclusion
SIAL was a very different kind of experience for me because it was the very first food exhibition that I visit. In this exhibition, various companies from various countries exhibited their products. I noticed on thing common in most of the stall is that the people are now more health conscious than before. So, take that point in mind companies made their products in such a way which is healthy and can provide nutritional content for human body without using preservatives or little amount of preservatives in it.
